cbdMD seems to be just one of many, but does this company stand out from the rest? After all, they’re partnered with Ken Block, arguably one of the best motorsports athletes on this planet — as someone who needs to always be on his A-game, cbdMD must have something special to offer, right?
Here’s everything you need to know about cbdMD, including whether or not these gummies and oils are worth it compared to all of their competitors.

Perhaps the most important factor when choosing a CBD product, or any health and wellness supplement, is whether or not it actually works. For our purposes, we tried the original CBD oil tincture and CBD gummies.
Some of the benefits that cbdMD claims can occur through using their products are enhanced exercise recovery, an increased sense of calm, stress management, and support of a daily wellness routine.
With those in mind, we found both the tinctures and gummies to bring us some relief.
Despite the fact that these were only broad-spectrum, and we typically prefer full-spectrum, we felt that these were able to make us feel relaxed, especially when we used them before bed. They also seemed to make our muscles feel a little bit less sore each morning after a workout.
With that said, they didn’t seem to work as well as a full spectrum alternative that we had been using prior. Full-spectrum CBD, which contains up to 0.3% THC, is often thought to be more effective because the presence of THC enhances the entourage effect.
We definitely agree, but these seem to be really solid options for people who want to remain THC-free.
Additionally, the gummies tasted really great compared to other ones that we’ve tried. The tropical mix comes with strawberry, orange, raspberry, and tropical fruit. While only one of those is actually a tropical fruit, they still tasted really great and we looked forward to taking them each morning.
We also used the natural flavor of their CBD oil tincture and found it to be pleasant. While it had the earthy flavor that most natural CBD oils have, it didn’t have an unpleasant aftertaste. We liked adding it to our tea and coffee, as it didn’t affect the flavor at all.

Another shining aspect of cbdMD compared to competitors is its immense amount of variety. While most companies will only offer a few variations of oils and gummies for specific purposes, it is truly impressive how many different products cbdMD has to offer.
While their original gummies and tinctures are meant to bring about holistic benefits, they have targeted products for sleep, stress, and pain relief. You can get your CBD in oil, gummy, topical, softgel, or even bath bomb form. They even have CBD treats for your dogs or cats.
They also have two products that utilize full-spectrum CBD: oil tinctures and softgels. While we wish they offered full-spectrum gummies as well, we can’t really fault them because of the amount of variety that they already have.
Another major benefit that cbdMD has going for them is that you can choose between a wide selection of strengths before you buy your oil or gummies. Gummies start at 300mg and go up to 1500mg per dose. The oils go from 300mg to a whopping 7500mg per dose.
Naturally, you’ll pay more for higher strengths, but it can save you money in the long run when you can take one gummy for the same strength as 15 elsewhere.
Cost
We purchased 300mg versions of both the oils and tinctures, as that’s always been enough for us in the past.
A one-time purchase of a 30ml oil tincture was $29.99, whereas a bottle of gummies with 30 servings ran us the same amount.
However, cbdMD allows you to receive monthly subscriptions for a discount. If you subscribe, you can save 30% on each one of your shipments.
This price isn’t outrageous, especially compared to many competitors. However, our usual full-spectrum option was the same price, and we feel that these price tags might be a bit hefty for just broad-spectrum products.
Customer Service
While the products are effective and the variety here is unmatched, their hot streak is ruined due to the very poor customer service experience that both we, and many others, consistently seem to be experiencing with cbdMD.
We gave them a call at the number listed on their site and were greeted by a fairly disinterested staff member. When we asked them a question about their product, we were told that we “should have just used the blog” to find the answer.
While being directed to the blog for more information is not inherently a bad thing, it felt off-putting that the staff member couldn’t just give us an answer directly. It made us feel a bit uneasy (so those CBD gummies couldn’t have come in handy soon enough).
This appears to be a common theme among many individuals who use cbdMD. Many people report not receiving responses to their emails. Additionally, shipping delays and lost packages are a common occurrence among many, and it doesn’t seem like cbdMD is very helpful.
In some cases, users have said that cbdMD refuses to offer refunds for missing or lost packages that never get delivered. They also don’t seem to provide a solution when shipping problems occur.
Who Is cbdMD For?
CBD products are generally safe, and many people find a lot of benefits from using them. If you’ve never used a CBD gummy or oil tincture, cbdMD might be a good place to start because you can control the dosage level. Additionally, since most of their items are broad-spectrum, you can use that to feel your tolerance before moving on to full spectrum.
cbdMD is also a solid option if you’re like to switch things up with different types of CBD every now and then. Since they have such a high variety of different products, you can try oils, gummies, softgels, or topicals to find out which one you might like best.
