Along with its needed effects, vitamin e (the active ingredient contained in E-400 Clear) may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor as soon as possible if any of the following side effects occur while taking vitamin e:

With doses greater than 400 Units a day and long-term use

  • Blurred vision
  • diarrhea
  • dizziness
  • headache
  • nausea or stomach cramps
  • unusual tiredness or weakness
